Police: Clearfield Student Found with BB Gun Rifle

HYDE – Lawrence Township police, the state Attorney General’s Office, the Clearfield County Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police K-9 Tom and Eric conducted a drug search Thursday at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.

The drug search of the CAJSHS resulted in negative results, police said. However, police found a student was in possession of a BB gun rifle that was in his vehicle.

School district officials will handle the disciplinary action against the student, said police, adding that there will not be any criminal charges filed as a result of the incident.

I’ve said it over and over again, it’s not a lack of gun laws it’s a lack on enforcement, the police should not act as judges, that is what judges are for, making that legal decision.
