Mildred Rothrock, 92, of Wallaceton died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at her daughter’s residence in Wallaceton.
Born April 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Zella Conser Knepp.
Mrs. Rothrock was a member of the Wallaceton United Methodist Church. She was a life member of the Wallaceton Volunteer Fire Company; she was in the fire company for 52 years.
She was married to James Wesley Rothrock. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2002.
She’s survived by two daughters, Betty Steinkamp and Mary English and her husband, Charles and one son, Terry “Butch” Rothrock, all of Wallaceton; one brother, Robert Knepp of Philipsburg; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Knepp; one grandson, Brian English; one great-grandson, Johnathan Youstic; one daughter-in-law, Andrea Jean Rothrock; and one son-in-law, Donald Steinkamp.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with the Pastor Steve DeSantis officiating. Burial will be in the Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of services at the funeral home.
