Clearfield Students Inducted into German Honor Society

HYDE – Twenty-five students were inducted on Feb. 18 into Delta Epsilon Phi, the German Honor Society, at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.

Membership requirements include an “A” average in German after three semesters, a “B” cumulative average and a clean record of conduct.

This is the largest group of students ever to be inducted into the honor society, according to Barbara Simpson, German teacher at Clearfield.

Root also received the “Award of Excellence” for having the highest averages in German and all other subjects.  Pictured also is Superintendent Terry Struble, who presented students with their membership certificates.
