Kurrent Youth Media Club to Hold Meeting

DUBOIS – The Kurrent Youth Media Club will meet at 6 p.m. Friday in downtown DuBois.

Youth are encouraged to produce local television shows for DuBoisTV and to earn studio time for their own projects.

The first weekly meeting will include a short informational session, social gathering and introduction to the club’s vision and future. The meeting is free for all youth interested in learning digital video and audio production as well as web and graphic design.

Parents are also encouraged to attend the first meeting at The Kinetic in downtown DuBois across from the DuBois Public Library. It will be an opportunity to meet club advisers and to tour the vast digital possibilities for DuBoisTV.

Attendees are encouraged to bring big ideas, their own mobile computers, cameras and camcorders, musical instruments and snacks to share with the club members.
