State police at Ridgway
- An incident of harassment occurred Thursday on Clarion Street in Jones Township. During the incident, a 10-year-old boy allegedly struck an 8-year-old boy. State police noted it was handled in accordance with established juvenile procedures.
- An incident of harassment occurred Saturday at a Hickory Street residence in Fox Township. As a result, a 44-year-old Kersey man has been charged with the incident after he allegedly punched the victim.
Lawrence Township
- Police checked the welfare of a female who allegedly threatened to harm herself.
- Police received a report that was deemed civil in nature.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of scattering rubbish that occurred in the area of Valley View Drive.
Sandy Township
- On Friday, a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Reynoldsville man hit a 74-year-old Falls Creek woman who was walking back into work at Wal-Mart. Minor injuries were reported, police said.
- Police responded to a Treasure Lake residence on Friday for a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Upon arrival police determined it was accidental.
- On Friday, a 28-year-old DuBois woman reported being harassed by her child’s father, a 24-year-old DuBois man. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Sunday, a 61-year-old DuBois man reported that while his vehicle was parked at Wal-Mart, a tractor-trailer, which was trying to negotiate the parking lot, hit his vehicle. The operator of the tractor-trailer then left the scene. Police checked the area for the tractor-trailer, but it was not found.
- A 20-year-old St. Mary’s man got distracted while driving Sunday on the Bee Line Highway near Eat ‘N Park and failed to stop his vehicle. As a result, he was unable to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 62-year-old St. Mary’s man. No injuries and minor damage were reported, police said.
