Lock Haven University to Offer Grant Writing Course

LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven University is now offering a Grant Writing course open to the public beginning May 18 and ending July 24. The course will be provided 100 percent online.

The Grant Writing course is an introduction and application of the mechanics, principles and techniques of successful grant writing.  Students will apply the fundamental components of a grant proposal, such as identifying sources of grant funding, conducting research to support their application and tailoring their proposals to specific audience interests.

Students will locate funding opportunities and develop a competitive grant proposal for an agency of their choice following the agency’s Request for Proposal (RFP) format.
