CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors are in the process of interviewing applicants for the position of roadmaster, according to Barb Shaffner, township secretary.
A decision will be made at the Dec. 16 meeting to fill the roadmaster position that is to begin Jan. 1.
The supervisors approved to apply to the Clearfield County Commissioners for financial aid to purchase a much needed radio system for the road crew. Shaffner said the cost of the new radios is $18,000.
The supervisors re-appointed Aaron Evans to another term on the Township Planning Commission.
The supervisors approved Pay Estimate No. 6 for Diehl Construction for $254,172.44 for the sewer line project.
