Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra to Present “Messiah” on Dec. 15

The soloists and the Orpheus singers of the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra will present George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” on Dec. 15.

The holiday package will include motor coach transportation, dinner and the performance. The Fullington Bus Co. has partnered with the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra to offer deluxe motor coach transportation from area locations.

The cost is $60 per person and includes round-trip transportation, a pre-performance dinner at the Tavern Restaurant, State College, and a ticket to Handel’s “Messiah” at Our Lady of Victory Church.

The holiday package itinerary is:

  • 3 p.m., DuBois Mall, Sears parking lot across from CNB Bank and Hampton Inn;
  • 3:30 p.m., Clearfield, Wal-Mart lower parking lot on the grocery side;
  • 4 p.m., Philipsburg, Peebles Plaza in front of the Goodwill Store;
  • 5 p.m., State College, The Tavern;
  • 7 p.m., Concert at Our Lady of Victory Church; and
  • 9:45 p.m., Return trip to pick-up sites.
