CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Andrew Franson to the position of wealth & asset operations officer.
In the position, Franson will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Wealth & Asset Management department to ensure that all functions run efficiently and accurately to ensure customers receive professional and timely service.
Franson joined CNB Bank as a member of the bank’s Management Training program in 2004. Immediately following the intensive training program, he obtained a position as customer service representative at the bank’s Old Town Road office in Clearfield. In 2010, Franson was promoted to trust operations manager.
“Over the past several years, Andrew has continued to grow his knowledge of all aspects of banking, primarily as it pertains to the intricacies of wealth and asset management,” said Bower. “I am confident that he will continue to work hard to provide the best experience for our customers.”
A native of Clearfield, Franson graduated from the Clearfield Area High School in 2000. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Penn State University in 2004.
Since joining the bank, he has earned his personal banking diploma and supervisor certificate from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Professional Development Network. He’s currently working toward completing the Trust Audit, Compliance & Risk Management curriculum offered through the Cannon Financial Institute.
Franson resides in Clearfield and is a member of the West Side United Methodist Church. He volunteers his time each year and is actively involved in the Clearfield County Fair. Franson is a member of the Clearfield Elks Lodge, BPOE No. 540.
