CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotion of Donna J. Collins to the position of vice president/regulation & examination.
In her position, Collins specializes in the research, interpretation and clarification of complex regulatory requirements. She assists in the review and update of bank policies and procedures, and is responsible for coordinating audits and regulatory examinations.
Also, she provides insight on new product development, changes in existing products and marketing of products and supervises the compliance and security departments.
Collins joined CNB Bank in 1975 and has held positions in the areas of data processing, proof, receptionist/secretary, administrative assistant, assistant compliance officer, and in 2007 she earned a promotion to assistant vice president/compliance.
“Over the past nearly 40 years at CNB, Donna’s hard work and dedication has been instrumental in our growth and development,” said Bower.
“We find ourselves in an increasingly complex regulatory environment and Donna’s knowledge and expertise in compliance and all aspects of banking are vital to the bank’s strategic growth.”
A native of Clearfield, Collins graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1974. She went on to attend the Central Pennsylvania Business School in Summerdale.
Since joining the bank, she has graduated from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) Compliance Academy and PBA Compliance Management Academy. She has also earned banking diplomas from the American Bankers Association (ABA) to include, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act for Compliance Professionals, Management Training/Bank Secrecy Act, Banking Today and Managing Compliance Priorities, as well as certificates in Supervision and Sales and Service.
Collins currently resides in Clearfield with her husband, Marty. She is the daughter of Zaneth Casteel and the late Dr. Donald Casteel.
She helps serve the community as an officer for the Clearfield American Legion Auxiliary Post 6. She has served on the board of directors for the Children’s Aid Society and the Clearfield Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Collins has also chaired the finance committee at Trinity United Methodist Church where she is a member.
