CLEARFIELD – Volunteers from the Clearfield Area United Way filled in 60 percent of its goal sign following the 2014-15 Kick-off luncheon celebration.

Further, “Creating Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow” is the theme of this year’s annual campaign.

Many pace-setter gifts were announced to help the CAUW’s 24 local member agencies in eastern, southern and central Clearfield County. This year’s goal is $245,500.

Shown are Campaign Chair Mark Schultz and Campaign Second Vice Chair Debbie Bowser. Standing are Kay Dell’Antonio and Michael Ryan.

More than 75 volunteers are involved in the CAUW’S annual campaign this year.

“It’s never too late to donate to make a difference,” Schultz stated. “We hope that small businesses, large companies, professionals, clubs, residents and all who are able will mail a tax deductible donation to the CAUW.”

Donations can be sent to 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. Also, more information can be acquired by calling 814-765-6521 or going to clearfieldareaunitedway.org.
