CLEARFIELD – Carrying on the tradition is Jillian Jacobs, a 2011 Clearfield graduate, and her grandfather, Thomas Ball, a 1954 Clearfield graduate, as they display the banner donated by Ball to the Clearfield Bison Alumni Band.

They would like to invite all alumni band members to return to the field with the current Clearfield Marching Band for the 2014 homecoming football game on Oct. 3. The alumni are invited to perform the alma mater, the National Anthem and the team’s fight song with the band for pre-game music.

Alumni are also welcome in the stands during the game to play more songs with the band. Please join to celebrate this annual event at Clearfield. Music will be provided by Raymond Mandell.

Please contact Mandell at 814-765-2401 (rmandell@clearfield.org) or Jeanie Jacobs at 814-765-7185 (bisonalumniband@gmail.com) to participate.

Please bring your instruments, batons, flags, dress in red and black and join alumni for an evening of music and fun.

The reception for all participants prior to the performance starts at 5:30 p.m. Pre-game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Organizers would like to list the names of all participants in a small program and need RSVPs by Sept. 27 if you would like to be included. Please provide your graduation year and any family ties to a current band member.
