Clearfield, DuBois Tie in Fall Ball

DUBOIS — The Clearfield and DuBois fall baseball teams played to a 5-5 tie at Showers Field Thursday evening.

In the seventh inning, Clearfield went in front 5-2 with three runs, but DuBois rallied to force extra frames, and the game was halted after nine innings because of darkness.

Tommy Hazel led Clearfield with three hits, one a double. Marcus Luzier also had a double.

Clearfield (1-1-1) returns to action Sunday in a 1 p.m. doubleheader against Bishop Guilfoyle at Altoona.
