Woman Flown to Altoona after ATV Accident

COALPORT – A woman was flown from the scene of an all-terrain vehicle accident that occurred at 10:15 p.m. Sunday on Railroad Street in Coalport Borough, reported the state police at Clearfield.

Lisa Callahan, 44, of Coalport was operating an ATV when she struck a road sign. She was knocked off the ATV and struck her head on the roadway, state police said.

Callahan was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. She was subsequently flown to Altoona via Stat MedEvac, state police said.

State police were assisted at the scene by the Coalport Volunteer Fire Department and Glendale Emergency Medical Services.
