Interstate 80 Now Open in Clearfield County

Accidents cleared from earlier closures; speed reductions in effect

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers that Interstate 80 eastbound in Clearfield County is once again open to traffic.  A section of the roadway was closed earlier today due to an accident.

PennDOT reminds drivers that a speed reduction is in place on several roadways in PennDOT District 2 including:

  • I-80 in Clearfield, Centre and Clinton counties
  • I-99 in Centre County
  • Route 22/322 in Mifflin and Juniata counties

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 680 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available by calling 5-1-1, and regional Twitter alerts are available on the 511PA Web site.
