Police Report: Clearfield Borough

  • Police would like to urge residents to secure their vehicles while they’re being left unattended.
  • Police responded to Arnold Avenue while someone had egged a residence.
  • Police responded to a residence along South Fourth Street for a complaint about barking dogs.
  • Police responded to the Clearfield Hospital for an alleged assault. While speaking with the victim, police discovered the incident had occurred in the township.  Lawrence Township police then arrived at the hospital to speak with the victim.
  • Police were dispatched to a residence along East Locust Street for a domestic dispute. The incident was handled at the scene.
  • Police recovered a bicycle in the area of South Third Street. The owner may claim the bicycle at the police station.
  • Police assisted a motorist who locked her keys in her vehicle while she was at the American Legion.
  • Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Front and Nichols streets. Upon arrival police exchanged information for the individuals involved in the accident. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
  • Police located an open door to a storage building downtown.  Everything was found to be OK.  Police secured the building upon leaving the scene.
  • Police investigated a suspicious male who was inside a truck along Daisy Street. The incident was handled at the scene.
  • Police responded to an incident of criminal mischief along Chester Street. The suspects egged a garage door.
  • Police received a complaint about a speeding vehicle along East Pine Street.
  • Police unlocked a vehicle along Dorey Street.
  • Police handled an incident of harassment along Woodland Road.
  • Police stopped a vehicle after its operator failed to stop at a flashing red light.  While encountering the operator, police found that they had a loaded firearm concealed without a concealed carry permit.
