Man Gets Jail Sentence in Drug Case

CLEARFIELD – A New York man charged with bringing cocaine to the area was recently sentenced in Clearfield County Court.

Mack Perkins, 36, 1376 Lyman Place, Bronx, NY, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and false identification to law enforcement. He was sentenced to six months to two years less one day in jail and two years concurrent probation.

Perkins was arrested when he arrived at Brianna Wood-Kifer’s Woodland residence in February while a search warrant was being executed on the home.

The search uncovered 15 small bags of cocaine, which she admitted she obtained from Perkins.

Wood-Kifer, 32, also faces drug charges. She recently signed a plea agreement and is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 24.
