Police Report: Clearfield Borough

  • Police responded to a minor accident that occurred in the rear parking lot of the Hedges Restaurant.  Both parties exchanged information.
  • Police responded to an accident that occurred on North Third Street, where one vehicle struck a parked vehicle.  Emergency personnel transported the driver to the Clearfield Hospital for an evaluation.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Clearfield Street and Turnpike Avenue.  One vehicle entered the intersection without stopping at Clearfield Street. That vehicle struck another that was traveling on Turnpike Avenue, causing it to spin and overturn.  All individuals were transported to Clearfield Hospital for evaluation. At the time of the accident, no major injuries were reported. Police were assisted by members of the Clearfield Fire Department, Fire Police and Clearfield Emergency Medical Services.
  • Police responded to East Fourth Street for a report of suspicious activity. Police arrived and did not locate anyone in the area.
  • Police responded to Sansone Avenue for a report of a white sports utility vehicle that backed over property, damaging it.  The driver then fled the scene.
  • Police reported that a traffic sign was knocked over and damaged along Bigler Avenue/U.S. Route 322.
  • Police responded to North Third Street for a verbal altercation that was handled without incident.
  • Police assisted a female along East Eighth Street with a bat that was inside her residence.
  • Police picked up a juvenile who was reported as missing by the Pennsylvania State Police.
  • Police are investigating a drug incident that occurred along Nichols Street.
  • Police arrested a male for possession of narcotics after he was found to be in possession without a valid prescription.
  • Police handled a noise complaint along West First Avenue.
  • Police handled a noise complaint along East Cherry Street.
  • Police responded to a neighbor dispute along Dorey Street.
  • Police arrested a male for suspicion of DUI after he was stopped for an equipment violation along High Street.
  • Police responded to a domestic situation between a mother and daughter at a residence along South Second Street. As a result, the daughter was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
  • Police responded to a noise complaint along Daisy Street.
  • Police were called to check the welfare of a male who was walking on the roadway along South Fourth Street.  The male was found to be OK.
