TIPTON – DelGrosso Foods has announced the debut of three, new sauces to its Traditional Pasta Sauce Line. Roasted Garlic, Garlic & Cheese and Marinara Sauce are the three, new flavors that customers can now pair with their favorite pasta.
“Consumers are always asking for new flavors. In order for us to stay competitive in the marketplace, we like to keep advancing and adding new items. Customer tastes are always changing, and we felt this was a good time to showcase new flavors,” said Joe DelGrosso, president of DelGrosso Foods Inc.
The three new flavors will join eight other pasta sauce selections already available from DelGrosso in the Traditional Sauce line. This line also includes three pizzas sauces, sloppy joe sauce and mild, medium and hot salsas.
Smooth, thick and distinct in flavor, the traditional DelGrosso line of sauces is based on the original recipe that Mafalda DelGrosso’s mother, Marianna, brought with her to the new world in 1911 and began serving at Mom’s Café in Altoona shortly thereafter. These all-natural pasta and pizza sauces are made with quality ingredients like fresh herbs and spices, imported Italian olive oil, imported Pecorino Romano cheese, and tomato puree from California vine-ripened tomatoes.
