  • Police responded to state Route 879 for a deer that was still alive after being struck by a vehicle.
  • Police checked the welfare of a dog that had been locked inside a vehicle for more than an hour. Upon arrival police asked the owner to provide the dog some water.
  • A two-vehicle accident occurred in the area of Centre Street and Popular Avenue. Two injuries were reported, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
  • Police responded for a male who was reportedly trapped underneath a tractor. Upon arrival police found a neighbor had assisted the male who sustained minor injuries.
  • A domestic dispute occurred between a male and female on Powell Avenue. The male left the residence prior to police arrival, and charges will be filed against him.
  • Police checked the welfare of a male along SR 879. The male was found to be OK.
