Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • A civil property dispute was reported to police; the individuals were referred to the appropriate agencies.
  • Juveniles were reportedly in the bushes along River Road. Upon police arrival, the juveniles had left the area.
  • An incident of harassment was reported to police; the individuals agreed to cease contact with each other.
  • Police responded to a mental health emergency at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The person was transported by emergency personnel without incident.
  • An incident of disorderly conduct was reported to police; the individual was released to a parent without further incident.
  • Police are investigating an incident of identity theft, theft of services and fraud. A Hyde resident used the personal information of a Curwensville woman to establish and then not pay for satellite services.
  • Police assisted another agency with handling an incident of threats and harassment. The incident stemmed from a mental health issue.
  • An incident of criminal mischief occurred at the Lawrence Park Village Apartment Complex. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
  • An incident of harassment occurred at Edgewood and remains under investigation at this time.
  • Children were reportedly throwing rocks at vehicles on South Second Street and state Route 879. They fled prior to police being called and were not located after a search of the area. The incident remains under investigation.
