WJAC-TV: Man Stabbed in Punxsutawney

6-story-graphicPUNXSUTAWNEY – A 53-year-old man was stabbed at approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday on North Jefferson Street in Punxsutawney, according to police.

The victim’s condition isn’t known by police. However, police said he was taken to the Punxsutawney Hospital; from there, he was flown to an Altoona trauma center.

Police are still searching for the suspect.  He’s described as a Caucasian male who is in his 20’s and who stands approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans.  He was observed in a gray vehicle and last seen walking on Torrance Alley.
