I-99 South Closed in Centre County Due to Accident

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has advised drivers that a portion of Interstate 99 southbound is closed in Centre County due to an accident. The closed section is between Exit 73 (Route 322 – State College/Lewistown) and Exit 71 (Toftrees/Woodycrest).

PennDOT expects to open I-99 by 3 p.m. today.

Motorists are being detoured around the scene. Drivers should be alert for stopped or slowed traffic throughout this area and always buckle up.
