Christopher Paul (P-Paul) Laird, 31, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Clearfield died Tuesday Feb. 5, 2013 at his home.
Born Dec. 23, 1981 in Philipsburg, he was the son of Kenneth M. Laird and Mary J. Black of Clearfield and his birth mother, Debrah M. Hope (Thompson) of Florida.
He was employed with Iron Skillet in Carlisle an assistant manager for two years. He enjoyed music and playing video games with his family.
Surviving are his partner, Budd Foust of Mechanicsburg; three sisters and two brothers, Kayla R. Reams and her companion, James Rowles; Joshua T. Black and his girlfriend, Steph Boal; Randell K. Laird and his girlfriend, Paula Shomo; and Cassandra L. Duckett and her husband, Kenneth Jr., all of Clearfield and Carrie M. Laird and her boyfriend, Angelo Carioscia of Columbia, SC.
Surviving are seven nieces and nephews, Cameron, Savannah, Madison, Tiara, Joselyn, Gunner and Miley; grandparents, Merrill and Jennie Laird and Bertha Buck, all of Clearfield; step-brothers, Joseph L. Stiner, Keith L. Laird, Sgt. Gary L. Laird and Randy A. Buck; and step-sisters, Melissa Marcinko and twins Crystal L. Long and Christy L. Long
He was preceded in death by a step-grandmother, Alice Laird; grandparents, Harold and Delphine Thompson; and a step-brother, Matthew A. Marcinko
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Christopher P. Laird will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830 with the Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating.
A time to share memories with the family will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
