Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • A minor accident occurred on Supercenter Drive.
  • A resident allegedly received threats from a Philadelphia resident.
  • A resident reported the theft of medication to police.
  • No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Bloom Road. The motorist exited the roadway and then became stuck in the snow.
  • A resident reported theft of medication after someone entered their apartment. Police remind residents to lock their residential doors.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported along state Route 879. Police attempted to make contact with the owner of the vehicle.
  • Sandy Township police were assisted with a warrant service.
  • A single-vehicle accident occurred along the Old Erie Pike. Andrew Lobb of Brisbin was traveling northbound and negotiating a left-hand turn. Lobb lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway and struck an embankment. Lobb was not injured.
  • An incident of burglary was reported during which a Play Station 3 was allegedly stolen. The incident remains under investigation.
  • A lost dog was reported in the Hyde area. The dog is a brown and white boxer.
  • An alarm was reported at a local business, which police found to be secured.
  • A single-vehicle accident occurred on the Old Erie Pike. A Curwensville man’s vehicle slid on black ice, and he lost control of the same. No injuries were reported.
  • A business alarm occurred along South Second Street, and police found it secured.
  • A domestic dispute occurred at the Riverside Motel.
  • Two missing children were reported in the Glen Richey area. The children were soon found and returned to their residence.
  • Police were contacted to be-on-the-look-out for a 13-year-old boy in the Hyde area.
  • A possible stolen vehicle was reported to police. The vehicle was later found to be repossessed, police said.
  • A theft complaint was reported to police and later withdrawn.
  • An 18-year-old man was taken into custody after a domestic dispute. He’s facing charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and harassment. His bail was set at $25,000 straight. He was placed in the Clearfield County Jail. The man’s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 23.
  • A domestic dispute occurred between two brothers, and police handled the incident at the scene.
  • An open door was found at a Hyde business. Police cleared the building and then contacted the owner.
