UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Students interested in purchasing tickets for the Penn State men’s hockey team’s game against Vermont at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center Jan. 19 can take advantage of a special bus and ticket package through the Penn State Athletic Ticket Office.
Students can purchase a ticket and bus pass, which will provide transportation to and from Penn State and the Wells Fargo Center, for $30. Students who do not need transportation can buy a ticket in sections 203 or 204 for $8 each. Up to four tickets can be purchased per valid student ID and cash and credit cards will be accepted.
Tickets will be available at the Bryce Jordan Center Athletic Ticket Office Thursday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Beginning Friday, Dec. 14, students can purchase tickets from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m Monday through Friday. Tickets will also be available during the first intermission of Saturday night’s game against Robert Morris. The sale will continue until Wednesday, Jan. 16 or while supplies last.
On game day, the bus will depart at noon from the Bryce Jordan Center on Curtin Road. A game ticket, student ID and bus voucher will be required to board the bus.
The Philadelphia College Hockey Faceoff will feature Penn State and the Catamounts in the home of the National Hockey League’s Philadelphia Flyers. The Wells Fargo Center will become the second NHL venue to host the Nittany Lions this season. Penn State will also compete in the Three Rivers Classic at Pittsburgh’s CONSOL Energy Center Dec. 28-29.
