HARRISBURG – Clearfield County’s candidates for two senatorial districts and one house district ran unopposed in Tuesday’s General Election.
According to unofficial results, the Pennsylvania Department of State has reported 9,148 out of 9,257 Districts statewide, or 98.82 percent.
State Sen. Joseph B. Scarnati III, R-25, and state Sen. Don White, R-41, received 72,534 and 80,573 votes, respectively.
Scarnati had 1,604 votes in Cameron County; 12,397 in Clearfield County; 10,068 in Elk County; 14,402 in Jefferson County; 11,923 in McKean County; 6,106 in Potter County; 12,817 in Tioga County; and 3,217 in Warren County.
White had 18,220 votes in Armstrong County; 11,502 in Butler County; 5,094 in Clearfield County; 28,227 in Indiana County; and 17,530 in Westmoreland County.
State Rep. Matt Gabler, R-75, received 18,796 votes. He had 8,464 votes in Clearfield County and 10,332 votes in Elk County.
