One Transported to Altoona Hospital after Two-vehicle Accident in Bigler Township

BIGLER TOWNSHIP – One person was transported to the Altoona Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries after a two-vehicle accident at 10:55 a.m. Saturday on Green Acre Road in Bigler Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.

Raymond C. Rosman, 47, of Olanta sustained moderate injuries. In addition, Victoria M. Kitko, 19, of Madera sustained minor injuries; she was transported to the Clearfield Hospital. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Kitko was attempting a left-hand turn into a parking lot. She failed to observe the Rosman vehicle and struck the same.

The Rosman vehicle continued southbound and traveled off the western berm. There, it struck a tree. The Kitko vehicle came to a rest near the initial impact point, facing west and blocking the roadway.

Kitko’s passenger, Kelsey M. Loomis, 19, of Ramey sustained injuries of an unknown severity. She wasn’t wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. Kitko was cited for vehicle turning left through the district court in Houtzdale.
