CLEARFIELD – A 31-year-old Glen Hope man who has been accused of raping two, young children between March of 2010 and March of 2011 waived his right to a preliminary hearing during Centralized Court Wednesday at the Clearfield County Jail.

In two, separate criminal complaints, Christopher Lee Reams, 31, of Glen Hope has been charged with rape of child, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, indecent assault and indecent exposure. His bail has been set at $200,000 monetary.

According to the affidavits of probable cause for this case, on Aug. 15, a 10-year-boy and a 7-year-old girl were interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Brookville. During his interview, the boy alleged that Reams would occasionally take him into the bathroom and ask him to perform oral sex on him.

Reams would allegedly expose himself to the then 8-year-old boy who refused to perform oral sex on him. The boy alleged Reams would pull his (the victim’s) pants down and perform oral sex on him.

One time in the living room, the boy alleged Reams pulled his pants down and pulled him onto an air mattress. Reams then allegedly performed anal sex on the boy. On a separate occasion, Reams allegedly entered a bedroom, pulled the boy’s pants down and performed anal sex on him. Reams then ejaculated on the boy.

During her interview, the girl alleged that Reams approached her and pulled her pants down, while she was watching TV. He then inserted one finger into her vagina and another into her anus. At one point during the interview, the girl who was 5 years old at the time of the alleged sexual assault demonstrated Reams’ acts on a doll.

On another occasion, she alleged Reams approached her again and pulled her pants down. This time, he performed anal sex on the girl. In a third incident, she alleged Reams kissed both of her breasts.

Neither the boy nor the girl could provide a specific date and time the alleged incidences occurred. The boy estimated it was shortly after Reams and his mother began dating again. The girl told state police they occurred sometime between her mother’s first and second break-up with Reams.

On Sept. 15, state police interviewed Reams, who was reluctant to open up about the alleged incidences. At one point, he related he’d be more comfortable and may open up more if his aunt was permitted in the room. State police permitted his aunt to come in and allowed her to speak with him briefly.

Upon re-entering the interview room, state police asked Reams the same questions from the initial interview. During this interview segment, Reams admitted to having anal sex with the boy one time and ejaculating on him in a bedroom.

However, Reams would neither admit to requesting oral sex from the boy nor performing oral sex on him. In addition, Reams wouldn’t admit to the first alleged incident in which the boy said he performed anal sex on him.

So far as the second case, Reams admitted to using one finger to penetrate the girl’s vagina and the other to penetrate her anus. He would neither admit to performing anal sex on her nor to kissing her breasts.

On Sept. 18, state police spoke with the boy’s mother by telephone. She confirmed having a one-year relationship with Reams. It lasted from approximately March of 2010 to March of 2011.
