George Stephen McClure, 61 of DuBois died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Brady Township, Clearfield County.
Born Nov. 7, 1950, he was the son of the late George H. and Charlotte L. (Youman) McClure. On May 15, 1982, he married Tara (McIntosh) McClure. She survives.
He was the owner of Glass Unlimited in DuBois and St. Marys. He was a member of the Tri County Church.
He was an avid outdoorsman and adventure seeker. He was a member of the Anderson Creek Sportsmen’s Club and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen Kyle McClure and his wife, Jennifer and Chad Daniel McClure of Camp Hill; a daughter, Katelyn Fae McClure of DuBois; a brother, Michael A. McClure and his wife, Rose of Menlo Park, CA; a niece, Natalie McMahon and her husband, Russ of Woodside, CA and a great-niece, Autumn McMahon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Y. McClure.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Tri County Church with Pastor David Bish officiating. Friends will be received immediately following the service at the Tri County Church.
