Woman Jumps in River after Argument with Boyfriend

CLEARFIELD – A woman jumped into the Susquehanna River near East Walnut Street after allegedly engaging in a verbal domestic dispute with her boyfriend shortly before 2 a.m. this morning.

Clearfield Borough police located the woman lying in several feet of water and holding onto a rock. Responding officers entered the water and pulled her to safety.  

The woman was arrested for public drunkenness, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She will be arraigned later today.
