DuBois Resident Killed in Automobile Accident

DUBOIS – A DuBois resident lost his life in an automobile accident on Tuesday.

According to DuBois-based state police, Raymond G. Young, 93, was traveling sout on state Route 4011 in Brady Township in the right lane. While descending a hill, he lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle began to slide clockwise and he traveled onto the west berm in a counter-clockwise direction. The driver’s side hit a utility pole. His vehicle traveled another 19 feet before the passenger’s side struck two pine trees.

Young was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were assisted by the Brady Township Volunteer Fire Department and DuSan Ambulance.
