An incident of underage drinking occurred at approximately 2:09 a.m. Friday along River Road in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County. Two known juveniles were passengers in a vehicle during a traffic stop. While speaking with them, state police determined they had been consuming alcoholic beverages earlier in the night. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Charges will be filed through the district court
An incident of harassment occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday at a Power Lane residence in Gulich Township, Clearfield County. A 31-year-old man and a 23-year-old, both of Morann, were together earlier in the night. The first man allegedly punched the latter in the face for unknown reasons, which caused his lip to swell. Charges will be filed at the district court.
No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 2:59 a.m. Sunday along Route 2007 in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A 42-year-old Osceola Mills man swerved to miss a deer and traveled off the roadway. At that point, his vehicle struck a bridge rail, where it came to a rest. The man wasn’t injured in the accident. His vehicle sustained severe damage to its front end and was towed from the scene. He was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
An incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Saturday in the Comfort Inn parking lot in Franklin Township, Greene County. A person(s) allegedly removed a tailgate off Dominion Transmission’s 2010 Ford F-250 pick-up truck. It’s valued at $500. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
