CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Oct. 17.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Christine Saldukas, 31, of Turnpike Avenue, Clearfield. He stated that Saldukas is wanted for failure to appear at a preliminary hearing Oct. 12.

On Sept. 8, Officer Julie Wehler of the Lawrence Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint, charging Saldukas with retail theft and receiving stolen property.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Oct. 12 at which time Saldukas failed to appear, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Saldukas is described as a Caucasian female, standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall with hazel eyes and blond hair.

Anyone with knowledge of Saldukas’s location is asked to call Clearfield County Crimestoppers at 800-376-4700.
