Jules James “Jim” Waterloo, 72, a guest of the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield and formerly of Madera, died Friday. Born Sept. 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Jules and Marguerite (Callahan) Waterloo.
Mr. Waterloo was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Madera. He was an Eagle Scout.
He’s survived by two Sisters, Annette Freeberg of Houtzdale and Joan McCoy and her husband, George of Smithmill.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Roxanne Wasilko; Charles Freeberg Jr.; David Freeberg; Michele Ponist and her husband, Jonathan; Nadine Rowley and her husband, Tom; Karen Twigg and her husband, Doug; Kathy Cutler and her husband, Richard; Sandy Dimmick; Carol Bailey; and Scott McCoy and his wife, Kelly.
Mr. Waterloo was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church of Madera with Fr. Stanley Swacha as celebrant. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Madera.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Monday at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., 200 David St. Houtzdale.
