Police Report: Lawrence Township

  • A report was received about an unauthorized use of a vehicle from a Hyde resident.
  • An incident of harassment and domestic violence was received from a Martin Street Extension resident. The investigation continues at this time.
  • A disabled vehicle was reported on Lowe’s Drive.
  • An incident of reckless endangerment of children was reported. The investigation continues at this time.
  • A report was received about possible criminal mischief that occurred on Valley View Drive, where a known substance was placed on a resident’s vehicle. Police have a person of interest, and the investigation continues at this time.
  • Charges were filed against a 41-year-old St. Marys woman for possession of a controlled substance, tampering with records and other theft and drug-related offenses.
  • A minor accident was reported at the Hyde light. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
  • A disorderly male was reported on Lowe’s Drive and was gone at police arrival.
  • A possible intoxicated individual was reported on South Second Street and was last observed headed toward Curwensville.
  • A report was received about an incident of assault that occurred in Edgewood. A young woman received a wound in her book and was being treated at the hospital. The investigation continues at this time.

  • A missing juvenile was reported but was determined not missing and with relatives.

  • A man was reportedly sleeping in a yard along West Front Street and was asked to leave.
  • Property damage was reported at McDonalds, while a tractor-trailer caused damage and then left the scene.
  • A report was received about possible shots fired at a residence in the Glen Richey area. Police arrived and determined it was fireworks being set off by a neighbor.
  • A report was received about a male who was wanted for a summary warrant.
  • An emergency protection from abuse order was served.
  • An incident of harassment was reported, and both parties were advised to cease communication.
  • A gas drive-off was reported at the Snappy’s Convenience Store, and police stopped the suspect along Interstate 80 at which time he returned and paid for the fuel.
  • A suspicious female was reported at Ken-Taco-Hut parking lot. Officers identified the female.

  • A suspicious person and trespassing incident were reported at a Turnpike Avenue address.
  • An assault was reported at Lawrence Park Village, while a male was punched in the face by another known male.
  • A disorderly male was reported at Lawrence Park Village, while he was hitting an apartment door with a tool and yelling threats to another male.
  • Two individuals were found behind the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at the male. A male was taking pallets from the rear of the store and stated he had permission. However, the person who had given him permission wasn’t any longer an employee at the store.
  • A verbal domestic was reported along Woodland Road.
  • Police responded to Montgomery Run Road/Calvary Road for reported criminal mischief to a mailbox.
  • An incident of speeding vehicles was reported on White Road and involved all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes, etc. Anyone caught operating ATVs or dirt bikes on the roadway will be prosecuted.
  • Police handled an incident of received property, where an LG cellular phone was returned to its owner.

  • A down tree was reported on Piney Road, and officers were assisted by the Glenn Richey Fire Company in removing the tree.

  • Clearfield Borough Police were assisted with a domestic disturbance call.
