George R. Cunningham, 77 of Osceola Mills, passed away July 1, 2011 at his residence.

Born Jan. 24, 1934 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late James & Violet (Reynolds) Cunningham.

He was married to Carol A. (Price) Cunningham, who survives.

He is survived by children:

Wanda A. Smith and her husband William Jr.                                   of Morrisdale

Brenda S. Luzier and her husband John                                             of Osceola Mills

James L. Cunningham and his companion Laura Shingledecker        of Philipsburg

R. Carl Cunningham and his fiancée Susan Jones                              of Lanse

Georgia C. Bryan and her husband Dick                                            of West Decatur

Sister:

Shirley Cunningham                                                                           of Altoona

Grandchildren:

Brian Kostyak, Melissa Kostyak, Melinda (Kostyak) Haines, Jason Cook, Justin Cook, Baren Berg, Jordan Luzier, Cory Bryan, Miranda Bryan, Nicholas Bryan, Raymond Cunningham Jr., James Cunningham Jr., MeKayla Ahlberg and MeLesha Ahlberg

And three step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

He attended Philipsburg High School. He was an Electrician and was of the Protestant Faith. He enjoyed hunting & fishing.

Funeral Service will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on July 7 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Donald Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Matilda RD. Friends will be received at the funeral home on July 6, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. and on July 7 from 10-11 a.m.
