Girl Killed in Accident

CLEARFIELD – A girl was killed Sunday following an all-terrain vehicle accident with another vehicle along 21st Street, the Lawrence Township Police Department reported today. Her name was not released by police.

Police responded to the accident scene shortly before 5 p.m. A male was also flown from the scene and transported to another medical facility. The Clearfield County Coroner’s Office pronounced the girl dead at the scene.

The Pennsylvania State Police were contacted to reconstruct the accident and further details are pending at this time. 

Police were assisted at the scene by the Hyde, Lawrence Township and Bigler-Jackson-Woodland fire departments, Clearfield County Emergency Management Agency, Clearfield County Emergency Medical Services, Stat MedEvac, Clearfield County Coroner’s Office, Clearfield Borough Police Department, the Lawrence Township Fire Police, the Mass Casualty Unit, Pennsylvania State Police and A.J. Ross Towing.
