CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of April 4, 2011. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Robert Stoliker, age 38, of Geary Road, Spring Mills, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Stoliker is wanted for failure to appear at a Preliminary Hearing on March 9, 2011.
On Jan. 27, 2011, Trooper David Patrick of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a criminal complaint charging Stoliker with: 1) burglary, F2, 2 counts; 2) theft by unlawful taking, M2, 3 counts; and 3) receiving stolen property, M2, 3 counts.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by Patrick states that between Nov. 22, 2010 and Dec. 2, 2010, it was found that Stoliker had unlawfully gained access to the victim’s shed and had removed a 20 pound roll of copper wire. It was also found that Stoliker had taken approximately 30 pounds of copper tubing from the victim’s property, and had unlawfully removed a 40 pound roll of copper wire from the victim’s home.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 9, 2011, at which time Stoliker failed to appear after having received due and proper notice and a warrant was issued for his arrest. A hearing was held in Stoliker’s absence and all charges were held for Court.
