CLEARFIELD – Motorists will encounter a lane restriction and possible travel delays on Interstate 80 this week in Clearfield County, as bridgework that began last fall resumes. Drivers should be aware of a lane restriction and potential delays at the following location:
• Mile marker 102 westbound in Sandy Township: Left (passing) lane/shoulder will be closed westbound only as bridge repair work takes place on the Route 4015 (Sher de Lin Road) bridge that spans I-80.
Over the next few months, other bridgework zones will be in place. PennDOT will issue traffic updates as those work zones become active. All work is weather and schedule dependent. Swank Associated Companies is the contractor for this work.
Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, use caution in construction zones, and always buckle up. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
