FALLS CREEK – A Falls Creek woman was taken into custody after a search of her residence yielded cocaine and methamphetamine.
On Dec. 29, the state police Troop C Vice Unit executed a search warrant on the Pancoast Road residence of Christina Ruth Shaffer. As a result of the search, police found 9 grams of cocaine, a small amount of methamphetamine, digital scales, $1,696 in US currency, a television and security camera, a .12 shotgun and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Shaffer was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge David Inzana on charges of: possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shaffer was placed in Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $25,000 straight bail.
