Bear Hunter Shoots Pet Dog

CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department is investigating a hunting accident.

A Butler County man was hunting bear when he accidentally shot a black and brown shepherd-lab mix dog. The owner of the dog was located and police assisted him with his injured pet. Police reported the animal had to be put down.
