Houtzdale Fire Under Investigation

HOUTZDALE An investigation is currently ongoing into a fire that destroyed a 46-year-old Houtzdale man’s Martin Road residence sometime between 1 a.m. and 1:52 a.m. Saturday morning, the Clearfield State Police reported.

Cpl. Charles E. Gross of the Pennsylvania State Police said a fire marshal unit is investigating the origin and cause of the fire at this time. They have estimated $150,000 worth of damage to the two-story, wooden frame residence and attached garage, he said.
