• Police received a report of a safety hazard in Hyde when a crew from the sewer project struck an unmarked underground electrical wire.
  • Police are investigating a report of theft from a resident on Goshen Road.  Police are gathering evidence and have a person of interest.
  • Police responded to JC Penney at the mall for a possible theft.  The incident was listed as unfounded.
  • Police had a non-reporteable incident at the mall.
  • Police were assisted by the DuBois City Police in serving a bench warrant on a DuBois woman.  The woman plead guilty to the fine and costs.
  • Police assissted the DuBois City Police Department in transporting a DUI suspect to the Clearfield County Jail.
  • Police responded to a local business for a report of a suspicious person who had possibly stolen a vehicle.  The man was detained for the Pennsylvania State Police in Philipsburg and it was determined he was not the same man.  However, he was found to be driving under a suspended license.
  • Police notified the Clearfield Municpal Authority after they noticed a tremendous amount of water coming our of the cround near Snappy’s Convenience Store.
  • Police assisted a disabled tractor trailer that ran out of fule while coming off Interstate 80 onto state Route 879.  They had to direct traffic and assist the operator in obtaining fuel.
  • Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police with a domestic on the 400 block of East Locust Street.
  • Police assisted the Clearfield Borough Police with a disturbance in which an intoxicated man reportedly entered someone’s residence and then left with no clothes on.  Police located the man hiding in a nearby vehicle.  He was detained and placed in the Clearfield County Jail on charges from the borough police.
