OSCEOLA MILLS – State police in Clearfield are investigating a burglary that occurred at a home on Stone Street.
According to police the incident happened between Jan. 23 and Feb. 1. Someone entered the residence through the rear door. Once inside they went into the basement and cut all of the copper pipe from the water line and left the water run through the basement. The copper piping was also removed from the heating system. This left the residence without heat.
Damage and losses are estimated at $5,300. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 857-3800.
