Christmas Stockings for Troops

DUBOIS – Members of the Penn State DuBois Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) Club are collecting items to send to members of the military serving oversees. Items will be used to assemble holiday care packages for the troops, intended to help them have a better holiday away from home.

The public is asked to contribute to this effort by donating things such as candy canes, Christmas chocolates, playing cards, puzzle books, and other handheld games. Hygiene products including shampoo, deodorant, hand sanitizer and lotion are also needed. Donation boxes have been placed in the lobbies of the Smeal, Swift, Hiller and Multipurpose Buildings at Penn State DuBois.

The PSEA Club asks that the donation of all items be made by Nov. 19, so that packages can be shipped in time to reach the soldiers by Christmas.
