CLEARFIELD – Drivers will encounter a detour in mid-October as railroad work takes place in the in the village of LaJose, Clearfield County. Starting Oct. 19 crews will be working to build a new railroad crossing along Township Route 3016 in LaJose.
The new crossing will be parallel to the existing crossing and create a tie between the River Hill spur and the R.J. Corman mainline.
The work will make a detour necessary Oct. 19 – 21. From TR 3016, the detour will use state Routes 36 and 3001.
Work is expected to finish by late in the day on Oct. 21 but all work is weather dependent. PennDOT reminds drivers to obey posted speed limits and detour signs.
