Clearfield Armed Robberies Under Investigation

CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department is investigating two armed robberies that occurred at the Kwik Fill along Race Street and on Lewis Road.

According to the report someone entered the store, brandished an automatic handgun and demanded money. The male then exited the store through the south exit and crossed US Route 322, going into the Plymptonville area.

The investigation is ongoing and police were assisted at the scene by the Clearfield Borough Police Department.

In the second case police reported that an armed home invastion occurred on Lewis Road. According to the report two men forced their way into a home. The suspects told the residents to shut the lights off or they would shoot the resident.

The LTPD was assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police.
