Council, Fire Chief Make Requests of Curwensville Residents

CURWENSVILLE – The topic of snow removal was discussed at Monday night’s Curwensville Borough Council meeting.

Residents were reminded by council to remove snow from their sidewalks and not to shovel it onto the street or into street drains.

During the discussion Fire Chief Jeff Collins asked the residents to make their house numbers more visible.

“We’ve had an issue going on calls because residences are not clearly marked,” said Davis.

Davis noted that many times residents have their house numbers matching the decor of the home, which makes the house numbers hard to see. He recommended a sign similar to the one pictured with this article.
