DUBOIS – Penn State Cooperative Extension will be holding a workshop, “Natural Gas Exploration – Infrastructure and Development” on Feb. 19 at Penn State Dubois, Hiller Auditorium, College Place in DuBois.
The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. and end at approximately 9:30 p.m. Speakers include Extension and industry experts who will discuss current trends, pipelines, compressors, injection wells, water use and disposal, and background and new technology in gas production.
The cost of the workshop is $10.00 per person. Please contact the Clearfield County Extension Office to register to attend at 814-765-7878 ext. 6. Most prior participants of these workshops have obtained a greater understanding of the Marcellus shale and exploration and how it can affect them. This course is intended to inform you of the concerns you need to address as a landowner with property held within the Marcellus Shale and considering a gas lease.
